Magnetic couplings

Hermetically sealed

Leakages - which are normally found in conventional mechanical seals - should not be allowed when it comes to very critical applications such as very aggressive, toxic, odorous, explosive, flammable media. The only solution in this case is the magnetic coupling.

There are always some leakages in normal mechanical seals and dynamic seals. However, magnetic couplings function with a contactless and leakage-free torque transmission. This permanent-magnetic drive system, which uses the gravitational or repulsion forces from the permanent magnets is installed in pumps and agitators.

Sm2Co and NdFeB magnets are mostly used in these areas. These magnets are placed on coupling halves, which are separated by a separating can and that way, they seal the product space from the environment hermetically.

There is a variety of standard series in MSG’s stock for its customers. In most cases, however, we develop and manufacture magnetic couplings according to customer specifications.

Mainstream application is as below :

Carbonated water for soft drink dispensers

Espresso coffee machines

Beer cooling systems

Cooling for TIG Welders

Reverse Osmosis systems

Ultra-filtration systems

Cooling circulation

Constant temperature control

Atomizing / misting systems

Automated pesticide misting systems

Carwash machines

Steam cleaning machines

Cooling for X-Ray and medical lasers

Water purification

Boiler feeds

Pressure booster pumps

Heavy  oils

...

You can simply tell us your requirements. Our engineers will develop the best possible solution for your wish.
