High-precision and tough quality products in the micron range
Long service lives are extremely important wherever sealing rings are used in pumps to pump the liquids. This is applicable for sealing rings for a solid as well as for a shrunk-in geometry and for bearings for axial and radial construction.
MSG delivers sealing rings and bearings of all types. If you are not sure about the materials, we will be happy to advise you on which materials are best suited to improve your wear and corrosion protection.

MSG can also produce prototypes, individual pieces and even small batches for you. We have our own machinery including CNC turning and milling machines and most importantly, lapping and polishing machines.
We use a wide variety of optimised materials in our sealing rings and bearings depending on the use and area of application. These are described below in more detail.
We use silicon carbide in places where highest wear resistance is required. Depending on the silicon carbide quality - which we can recognise precisely - excellent chemical resistance is also vital, for instance. The excellent thermal conductivity of silicon carbide is already taken in to special consideration during the designing. Some special silicon carbide varieties even have good emergency running properties. 
MSG used this substance especially in places where wear resistance, break resistance, hardness and compressive strength play an important role and close attention is always paid to its limited chemical resistance.
Aluminium oxide is still very common in simple technical applications since it is particularly resistant to wear and corrosion. The excellent electrical insulation has made notable contributions to the widespread use of this material. However, it must not be recommended for applications with rapidly changing media temperature. The economic advantage compared to silicon carbide is present even today.
