Process side (Seal chamber)

Description:

Operation without circulation of the medium to be sealed through the seal chamber (dead-end operation). If necessary, the pump is provided with a cooling/heating jacket and a vent connection in the area of the seal chamber.

Common use:

• For clean media to be sealed
• At low process temperatures
• At low pressures in the seal chamber
• At low circumferential speeds

Application example:

Sealing of gypsum suspensions in pumps with single-acting mechanical seals.
